Natalia Sardi..

I am Natalia Sardi, I am both Argentinean and Brazilian and my roots are Italian.

I come from a family of artists and I am married to the musician and composer Thomas Turine from Belgium.

I have lived in Brussels for 20 years. I am a dancer, a choreographer, filmmaker and a singer.

Working in our own familiar living surroundings I look for gaps in our reality. I am searching for a more obscure take on the world hoping to discover subtle differences or something bigger and more fantastic.

In my research, the human body forms part of this landscape both inside and out.

A fusion of bodies in space, the body as object, the female body, all exist as a natural extension of that space.

Je suis Natalia Sardi, argentine et brésilienne, et mes origines sont italiennes.

Je viens d’une famille d’artistes et je suis mariée avec Thomas Turine musicien compositeur belge.

Vivant à Bruxelles depuis 20 ans, je suis danseuse, chorégraphe, réalisatrice,chanteuse.

Je travaille sur du concret, des espaces de vie, en commençant avec mon propre univers.  J’y cherche du décalage ou un regard différent et sensible, une vision intime menant à du fantasmagorique ou à un réel autre.

Dans ma recherche, le corps fait partie du paysage aussi bien intérieur qu’extérieur, une fusion du corps avec l’espace, un corps objet, un corps féminin, un corps existant dans ce qui le contient et comme une extension physique de l’espace.
